Glendyl Montez Bryant, loving mother of two and dearly loved grandmother of six passed from this earth on November 14, 2022. Montez was born April 6, 1940 in Banks.
She was a devout Christian and loyal servant of God. After marrying her husband, Leland Bryant, of 45 years they joined Macedonia Baptist Church where she was a member for 49 years and served as choir director for 45 of those years. After the passing of her husband, she relocated to El Dorado, and moved her letter to Ebenezer Baptist Church of El Dorado.
Montez was preceded in death by her parents, Dewey &, Arnette St John a step father, Paul Martin, a brother, Ronnie St John and her loving husband Leland Bryant.
Survivors include a son, Heath Bryant (Shelli); a daughter, Leanne Howard (Cliff); six grandchildren who were the joy of her life, Sarah Ashley Rutherford (Marcus), Gregory Bryant (Paige), Preston Howard, Peyton Howard, Elizabeth Bryant and Greyson Bryant; a sister, Donna Haygood and her husband Bob along with a host of other family and friends.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, November 17, 2022 at Frazer’s Funeral Home. Burial was in Moseley Cemetery by Frazer’s Funeral Home.
