Gene Lavoy Veazey, 85 of Monticello died November 10, at The Woods. Born January 1, 1937 in Warren to the late Lavoisier Veazey and Willie Jeanette Martin Veazey.
He is survived by his wife, Lola Veazey; son, Gene Lavoy Veazey, III.; daughter, Carol Daaboul and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. November 14 at Frazer’s Funeral Home. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery by Frazer’s Funeral Home.
