Richard Turner Wright age 74, of Cleveland County, AR, died Sunday, April 24, at his home. He was born Saturday, January 31st, 1948 in Warren, the son of the late R. D. Wright and Ford and Jimmie Castleberry. He was employed with K Mart for 15 years of service, then transferred to the Highway 15 Water Association for 7 years and retired from Granite Mountain Quarries in Little Rock, AR. He was a graduate of the Warren Public Schools and the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville with a Business Administration Degree. His hobbies were fishing, he loved hunting, and enjoyed watching the calmness of a beautiful body of water or river. Also preceding him in death was his son, Keith Wright.

Survivors include his wife, Judith Hughes Wright whom he married August 24, 1968 in Warren; sons Jeff Wright and spouse Mandi, East End, and Eric Wright and spouse Ashley, Monticello; a sister Tolese Crabb, Fayetteville,  eight grandchildren Erin, Breeanna, Dalton, Elizabeth, Hunter, Emma, Samantha and Eva; five great-grandchildren Bentley, Rylie, Colt, Olivia and Journee.

Graveside services were 2:00pm Wednesday, April 27th at Oakland Cemetery with Bro. Wayman Mann officiating. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery by Frazer’s Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were George Groghan, J.J. Borden, Bill Jackson, Jeff Meeks, Lee Broach, and Josh Reed.  Honorary pallbearers were Howard Green, Members of Pevey H.C., Ron Moseley, and Harold Pruitt.
