Have we gone too far? Is God’s judgment inevitable? I only know that we must repent soon. We have heard without truly hearing. Judgment is coming! How we ever arrived at such a deplorable, Godless state is in my thoughts daily. I plead for mercy.
Oh Lord, forgive us...
As believers we have taken Your eternal Word lightly and sought to make it conform to our own selfish desires,
As a church for seeking cultural acceptance more than seeking Your face,
As a nation for our pride and arrogance, blatant rebellion, and open defiance of Your sovereign dominion in our world.
Oh Lord, please accept my repentance and that of others who likewise share in the truthful admission of a cold, calloused heart. For mercy we plead. Prepare us to be your messengers to this sinful land. God bring us to our knees and restore America to scriptural values and righteous living.
