Matt Cathey was elected mayor of Hermitage, according to the unofficial results released on Tuesday, December 6.
Cathey received the majority vote against Hermitage mayor Tonya Kendrix with 41 votes. Mayor Kendrix received 33 votes. The total number of votes in the mayoral election was 74, with a 34.91 percent voter turnout. There were 13 early votes with 10 for Cathey and three for Mayor Kendrix. On election day, there were 61 votes cast.
