Mollie Bass Weaver, 68, of Warren, died Tuesday, September 19, 2023 at Chapel Woods Nursing Home. She was born Friday, October 1, 1954 in Bearden, a daughter of the late Jackson Bass and Susan Wallingsford Bass. Mollie earned her early education graduating the Bearden High School, she attended and graduated from the University of Central Arkansas with a Bachelor of Science in Medical Tech. Mollie spent 31 years at the Bradley County Medical Center as Lab Director and retired from BCMC. She transitioned to teaching at the South Arkansas Community College for 8 years. She was licensed upon graduation becoming Lab Director at BCMC in 1977. Mollie was a faithful member and a Christian Children’s Church leader at the First Assembly of God Church, where she dedicated and devoted her time for 22 years.
Also preceding her in death was her brother, Irvin Jackson Bass.
Surviving is her husband, Charles Weaver whom she married September 13, 1975, a sister-in-law, Gloria Bass of Hot Springs and her church family at First Assembly.
Funeral service was at 10 a.m. Friday, September 22, 2023 at First Assembly of God Church in Warren. Graveside service was at 2 p.m. Friday, September 22, 2023 at Moss Cemetery in Bearden by Frazer’s Funeral Home.
