James Wilson Edwards, 88, of Warren, passed away on Monday, January 15, 2024, at home. He was born on September 5, 1935 in Rye to the late Garfield Edwards and Oma Curry Edwards. He was a member of Centennial Fellowship in Pine Bluff, AR. He served his country in the United States Navy.
Other than his parents he is preceded in death by brothers, Joe Edwards and Leslie Edwards and sisters, Wilma Jean Bagwell and Jewel Adams.
Survivors include his loving wife, Barbara Jean Pearce Edwards of Warren, whom he married on March 20, 1959; sons, Dennis Edwards of Little Rock and Tom J. Edwards of Tulsa, Okla.; brother, Billy Mack Edwards (Bell) of Hermitage; grandchild, Madison Murchison (Black) and great-grandchild, Emmerson.
