Evelyn Lucille Norris, 92 passed away Sunday, April 23, 2023 at her home in New Edinburg. She was born November 29, 1930 to the late Edgar Shoemaker and Virgie Coulter Shoemaker.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Norman Alfred Candler; brother, Bobbie Harrell Shoemaker; one daughter, Rebecca Clanton; one son, Donnie Norris; two grandchildren, Jenny Clanton and Jayden Candler.
She is survived by her husband, James Alfred Norris; three sons, Norman Candler and spouse Nina of New Edinburg, Steven Candler and spouse Gwen of Camden, and James Norris Jr. of Metairie, La. ; four daughters, Mary Parker and spouse Myles of Bauxite, Kimberly Jean Griffin of New Edinburg, Kathy Marie Spence And spouse Wayne of Broken Arrow, Okla., and Karen Marie Burkhardt and spouse Fred of West Plains, Mo.; one brother, Wayne Shoemaker; one sister, Cheryl; grandchildren, Brian Candler and spouse Natalie, Norman Candler Jr., Adam Candler, Shelly Ashcraft and spouse Kevin, Cheryl Hunter and spouse Jacob, Kassidy Spence, Richard Clanton and spouse Phyllis, Jason Eaton, Alyssa Glasscock and spouse Luke, Logan Burkhardt, Derek Burkhardt, Christopher Norris and spouse Mary, Lauren Burt and spouse Jesse; great-grandchildren, William, Alexander and Skylynn Candler, Jessell and Anthony Arp, Tyler Burks, Greyson Ashcraft, Wyatt Hunter, Nathan, Annie, and Carmen Clanton, Harlen, Wilhelmina, Shepherd, and Beaumont Glasscock, Kaitlyn and Christopher Norris; great great grandchildren, Huck Burks and Liam Brooks.
