Dr. Bobbie Newton Rushing, age 91, of Hermitage, died Tuesday, July 12, 2022 at Audrey’s Special Home in Hamburg. He was born February 19, 1931 in Sheridan.
He was a retired dentist and an U.S. Navy veteran. He is preceded in death by his parents, Roscoe Newton Rushing and Lida Lee Braden Rushing; one brother, James Rushing; and one sister, Frances Rushing Perkings.
Dr. Rushing is survived by one son, Richard (Cathy) Rushing of North Little Rock; one daughter, Elizabeth DeArmond of Warren; and two granddaughters, Jade DeArmond of Conway, and Mary Grace DeArmond of Jonesboro.
The family would like to especially thank the staff at Audrey’s Special House for their great care and compassion for Dr. Rushing.
