William “Bill” Wesley Spears, 94, of Camden, went to be with the Lord and his beloved wife, Ella Ouita, on June 3, 2023. He was born on November 14, 1928, in Hamburg, Arkansas to the late Luther T. and Maudie Spears. Bill retired from International Paper Company in Camden, Arkansas where he worked for 40 years. He was a faithful member of the Fairview Road Baptist Church.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Ella Ouita of 68 years, parents, Luther and Maudie Spears and brother, Bobby Spears of Anchorage, Alaska.

He is survived by three children, Martin (Jayne) of Beebe, Arkansas, Steve (Cindy) of Sherwood, Arkansas, and Deborah (Rob) of Maumelle, Arkansas; one granddaughter, Megan (Hunter) Miller; five grandsons, Josh, Hunter and Will Wheeler, Jordan Spears (Kylie) and Austin Spears (Brittany); six great-grandchildren, Charley, Parker, Maddoc, Lawson, Cooper, and Garrett. He is also survived by his brother, Luke Spears of Madison, Alabama and a host of family and friends who loved him very much.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Josh Wheeler, Hunter Wheeler, Jordan Spears, Austin Spears, and Hunter Miller.

Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 6, 2023, at Proctor Funeral Home. Graveside service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 7, 2023, at Smyrna Cemetery in Bradley County. Bro. Danny Crowder officiating.
