Weekend two of Buck Fever successful

The second weekend of the 2024 Buck Fever Festival took place on Saturday, November 9. Visitors to Buck Fever were able to shop at vendor tents and food trucks. Bradley County Medical Center held a flu clinic where people could receive their flu vaccine. Other activities included a children’s corner, cutest dog show, and parade. The rest of the day included the traditional fish dinner, all class reunion, talent show, and pageants. Pageant contestants ranged from ages newborn to 25 years old.

Baby Girl 0-12 Months: winner- Milina Tinoco, first- Lakelyn Parnell, second- J'auni Washington; Baby Boy 0-12 Months: winner- Hudson Davis, first- Dasen Buck Watt, second- Buck Lasiter; Toddler Miss 12-23 Months: winner- Marquita McCoy, first- Ellie Jayde Mann, second- Arielia Brooks; Toddler Mr. 13-23 Months: winner- Raiden Moore, first- Rhett Franks, second- Zelle Hampton; Tiny Miss 2-4 Years: winner- Emberly Gamble, first- Nora Ellis Phillips, second- Cooper Annette Reppond; Tiny Mr. 2-4 Years, winner- Ja'kobi Ingram, first- Kaizer Miller, second- Tatum Harrison; Little Miss 5-7 Years, winner- Brooklyn Sexton, first- Ava Jackson, second- Anna Claire Robertson; Petite Miss 8-10 Years: winner- Addyson Spearman, first- Mya Hernandez, second- Channa Tatum; Jr. Miss 13-15 years: winner- MaKayleigh Wilkerson, first- Bailey Thornton, second- Lauren Williams; Teen Miss 16-18 Years: Winner- Alli Cathey, first- Gabriella Loomis, second- Alyssa Grider; Miss Buck Fever 19-25 Years: Winner- Elizabeth Miller, first- Olivia Harrod, second- Maddie Welch.

Winners for the dog contest: Harley White’s dog Buddy won Cutest Dog and Mckinleigh Meeks’ dog Mister won for Best Dressed. Harley Davis’ dog Aiden won Overall and Best Trick.

A new event, Antler Idol, was added at the 2024 Buck Fever Festival. Hayden Ford won and took home a prize of $1000.

Mary McClain was crowned Parade Princess.
