The GFWC Warren Woman’s Club helped to raise awareness of National Child Abuse Month in April. Every child has a right for a safe, healthy, and happy life.
The pinwheel is the National Symbol for Child Abuse Prevention. Throughout the month of April, the club sponsored two contests in the Bradley County area schools. The contests consisted of a Pinwheel Create and Design Contest in fourth through sixth grade. A first, second, and third place prize was given in each grade at each school. Winners received a word search book and the opportunity to be recognized.
