Warren School District celebrates successful school year

The Warren School District held its 2025-2026 End of Year Celebration and Academic Review on Friday, May 29, recognizing student achievement, employee excellence, and another year of growth and success across the district. 

All Warren School District employees returning for the 2026-2027 school year will receive up to a $2,500 bonus, in recognition of their continued dedication, hard work, and commitment to the students and community of Warren. 

Several employees were also recognized during the celebration with annual awards honoring excellence in education and service:

Gray-Weiss Union Bank Master Educator of the Year, presented by Tricia Wilkinson and Randy Rawls: Building Nominees: Brunson Elementary — April Thompson; Warren Middle School — Lori Wardlaw; Warren High School — Randi Hasley; and SEACBEC — Kasey Reep.

2025-2026 Gray-Weiss Union Bank Master Educator of the Year: Deena Hopper — Warren Elementary School Teacher 

Classified Employee of the Year: Mahogany Tolefree Lewis, District Nurse 

Warren Bank and Trust Teacher Excellence Grant, presented by Ericka Spears of WB&T: Sonya Taylor — Brunson Teacher; and Terri Longing — Brunson Teacher

The district also recognized employees for their years of dedicated service to the Warren School District. 

5 Years of Service: Haley Aldy, Jessica Beaty, Tonia Brasher, Katy Bryant, Rosalynda Ellis, Gayla McWhorter, Jennifer Outlaw, Jacob Roberts, Lakeisha Suber.

10 Years of Service: Christy Cathey, Magdalena Ramos, Sandra Halley, Tammy Huitt, Lori Wardlaw, Norma Yepes, Rebecca Forrest, Leticia Galindo, Sarah Valentine.

15 Years of Service: Henry Cox, Matt Valentine. 

20 Years of Service: Paula Broome, Mary Ann Johnson, Vickie Newton, Jeannie Rook, Amanda Lewis.

25 Years of Service: Cindy May, Kasey Reep, Kristi Cooper. 

40 Years of Service: Terri Callaway.
