Devon McDiarmid presented assessment results for the Warren ABC Preschool, highlighting the implementation of the RISE Literacy Intervention program in pre-kindergarten classrooms. Students were evaluated in September, February, and May, with data showing significant growth in all areas of literacy. The program, paired with Launchpad, is part of a district initiative to support incoming kindergarten students.
The board entered executive session to discuss personnel matters. Upon returning to regular session, all recommendations and actions discussed were approved by vote.
The board approved updates to district policies and a revised meal reimbursement plan. In addition, approval was granted for the purchase of a new vehicle for the district’s athletic director.
