Stephen Lee ''Steve'' Richardson, age 75 of Warren, passed away Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at St. Vincent Hospital in Hot Spring. He was born July 9, 1950, in Little Rock to the late Bobby Gene Richardson and Joanne Kight Richardson.
He has been the owner/operator of Richardson Wood Company/LA Wood Company since 1982 and was a member of Immanual Baptist Church of Warren. Steve was a legendary duck hunter and turkey hunter and was known across south Arkansas as such. Nothing gave him more pride than to carry a youngster hunting to kill their first duck or turkey.
Survivors include his wife, Debra Bennett Richardson of Warren; his children, Dr. Sylvia Simon (Dr. Tim Simon), Keith Chambers (Christina), Morgan Meeks (Matt), Jenny Lemoine (Cliff), Brandi Collier (Jeff), Dr. Alexee Chambers and Stevie Richardson (Cassidy); one brother, Scott Richardson (Karen); grandchildren, Pete Simon, Mary Emma Moore, Jack Chambers, Mattie and McKinleigh Meeks, Nicholas and Caroline Lemoine, Jay and Jaxon Collier and Norris Brown; a niece, Scott Allison Johnson; and a nephew, Robert Austin Richardson.
Funeral services were held 3 p.m. Saturday, January 3, 2025, at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Chapel with Rev. Sonny Tucker officiating. There was a visitation from 1-3 Saturday preceding the funeral service. Burial was in Green Hill Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Log-A-Load For Kids. Serving as pallbearers were Stevie Richardson, Jay Collier, Brian Wilder, Connor Wood, Armani Meza and William Morales.
