Dr. Dichelle George and her staff at Marsh George Clinic (MGC) are expanding patient care with the launch of Renew Med Spa at MGC, a new addition designed to offer aesthetic and wellness services in a relaxing, medically supervised setting.
The spa features a newly designed treatment room with ambient lighting and calming aromas while offering advanced technology focused on skin rejuvenation, body contouring and weight loss support.
One of the newest services includes the Venus Bliss Max system, an FDA-approved body sculpting treatment designed to tone and firm skin, reduce cellulite, build muscle definition and target stubborn fat areas.
Renew Med Spa is also offering treatments with the Venus Viva MD system, which focuses on facial and neck rejuvenation by tightening skin, smoothing wrinkles and improving the appearance of acne scars through advanced radio frequency technology.
George said the Venus Viva MD system can also provide non-invasive eye and brow lift treatments. The procedures work beneath the skin’s surface to stimulate collagen production and are suitable for all skin types.
Recovery time varies depending on the treatment performed, but George said many procedures require little downtime, with recovery times lasting between 30 minutes and an hour. Certain treatments may involve a healing period of three to four days.
The clinic is currently conducting a soft launch of the spa services and plans to host an official launch celebration during the first week of June.
“Watch our Facebook page for more information,” George said.
Treatment pricing is based on the size of the treatment area and the type of technology used.
“Most services range between $135 and $800 per session,” George said. “Package deals are available.”
To make treatments more accessible, the clinic is offering financing through Cherry Credit with six-to-12-month no-interest options available. Patients who purchase treatment packages will also receive one complimentary session.
George said all services are performed by trained staff members under her direct medical oversight.
“All of my staff have been trained by professionals and are under my oversight,” she said.
Current spa hours are Wednesday afternoons and Friday mornings, although George said additional hours could be added as interest grows.
George said the inspiration for the med spa came from her own personal health journey. After learning she had progressed from pre-diabetic to diabetic, she made the decision to focus on weight loss and improving her overall health.
As she lost weight, George said she experienced loose skin and other physical changes often associated with significant weight loss, which inspired her to offer services that could help others facing similar challenges.
“I knew I was not alone and wanted to provide services that I myself would be interested in,” she said.
George said the name “Renew” was inspired by her personal “word of the year.”
“My word of the year was ‘renew,’ which is how I came up with the med spa name,” she said.
In addition to aesthetic treatments, Marsh George Clinic continues to offer prescription weight loss medications and clinical management designed to help patients achieve and maintain healthy weight loss goals.
The clinic is also offering Thorne supplements and vitamins, products George said she personally uses and recommends. Information for ordering is available through the clinic’s Facebook page.
“We want to be the ultimate in-full service,” George said.
George emphasized the importance of medical oversight in a med spa setting and encouraged patients to ask questions about provider qualifications before undergoing treatment.
“Always ask for credentials of the staff treating you,” she said.
During consultations, George or a member of her staff discusses patient concerns, treatment recommendations and pricing options. Patients who choose to move forward with services are required to pay a $100 booking fee, which is applied toward their selected package.
Looking ahead, George said she hopes to continue expanding services by adding Botox injections, chemical peels, and a skincare line in the near future.
George said her goal is to help patients feel more confident and comfortable in their own skin.
“I hope this gives them the confidence to feel better about themselves, to know their weight loss journey was worth it and they can show it off or gain confidence by eliminating their acne scarring,” she said.
