The Warren Police Department executed a search warrant at Hometown Tobacco for selling illegal THC marijuana gummies and candies and THC electronic cigarettes at 3:10 p.m. Monday, July 11.
Local law enforcement recovered 81 individual packages of THC and marijuana infused candies. It was reported that all of the packages and electronic cigarettes contained more than the legal THC limit without a presciption. The federal and state legal limit classifies 0.3 percent or less as the legal THC limit.
There was a firearm located at the scene and $1,109 was also seized during the search. There were no arrests made, but some are pending. The evidence was sent to the Arkansas State Crime Lab.
“Our concern is THC being sold to kids,” said Warren Police Department Criminal Investigator sergeant Tim Nichols.
