The first box of tomatoes for 2026 was brought in by Perla Reynoso, a family member of Maria and Victoriano Pena of Pena Farms in Hermitage. Victoriano has been farming since 2013 and produces approximately 20 acres of tomatoes and other produce. Shown in the box is Celebrity. Other varieties that are grown include Roadster, Pink Girl, Bradley, and Purple Cherokee. They also raise squash, yellow and red melons, okra, cucumbers, cantaloupe, bell peppers, jalapeno pepper, banana pepper, potatoes, onions, purple hull peas, pinto beans, and watermelon.
