On the date of Tuesday, April 12, 2022, officials of the Warren Police Department responded to a call at a local medical facility in reference to a possible child abuse.
During the course of the investigation it was determined that the 19-month-old victim’s injuries were not consistent with the events given. Suspects Brianna Barker and Carlitos Roque were determined to have been the sole caretakers of the child during the time of the injuries and were arrested for the charge of Battery 1st.
The child was transported to a Central Arkansas Hospital for medical treatment. Barker and Roque were taken before Judge Bruce Anderson for a First Judicial Appearance where their bond was set a $10,000 a piece.
This investigation is still ongoing at this time.
