Carolann Stanton St. John Shepard, 63, joined our Lord and Savior on January 18, 2023. Carolann grew up in Portland, Oregon, attended Madison High School, and graduated from Crosset High School Class of 1977 in southeast Arkansas. She had a career in banking, billing, and credit analysis. She enjoyed her family, reading, and her favorite shows. Carolann was a wonderful daughter, sister, wife, mother, and caring friend. Her spirit was so bright and supportive. She will be dearly missed and always remembered.
Carolann was predeceased by her father, David Stanton. She is survived by her mother, Shirly Stanton, of Milwaukie, Oregon; caretakers Royce and Mary Taylor, of Pine Bluff, Arkansas; husband, Delmer Shepard, of Kapolei, Hawaii; her daughter, Sarah Olson, of Kodiak, Alaska; her son Adam St. John, of Bozeman, Montana; and three grandchildren, James St. John, Jaxson Hammons, and Leif Olson; sisters Cathy Davis, of Milwaukie, Oregon, Terry Edmondson, of Pine Bluff, Arkansas; and brother of Willie Stanton.
Carolann requested cremation, and we cast her ashes off the Oregon coast. Departing from Charleston Harbor, Oregon, on June 14, 2023, we will hold this service. We cordially request everyone attending the boat service to RSVP since the boat has limited space. After the boat service, we will meet at Portside Restaurant to celebrate the life of Carolann. There are no space limitations nor RSVPs to attend the celebration of life. We welcome everyone who would like to attend and share in the memories and loving stories of Carolann.
