Bradley County 4-Hers recently traveled to Malvern to participate in 4-H District O-Rama. Orama is a competitive event which showcases a 4-H member’s year of hard work and project learning. There are over 40 contests that members can compete in. Participants qualify at the county, district, and state levels. State O'Rama is hosted at the University of Arkansas campus in Fayetteville. Young people are given an exciting preview of university life by having them stay in dorms and attend career fairs. Ultimately, the event is built on the 4-H "learn by doing" philosophy, providing a platform for youth to build confidence, step outside their comfort zones, and connect with peers from across the state.
Bradley County participants included: Alyssa Martinez and Brooke Rawls, competing in Performing Arts,;Antonia Davis, in Fashion Review; Ben Green and Judson Green in Public Speaking; and Arielle Weaver in shooting sports.
