American flag mural gets new home at The Eagle Democrat

The American flag mural will have a new home at The Eagle Democrat building on 200 West Cypress in Warren thanks to Union Bank. Tricia Wilkinson and Randy Rawls, with Union Bank and Trust announced Friday, April 28 they have contracted with Jason White, of White’s Artwork, to repaint the American flag mural on The Eagle Democrat building.

“The American Flag means a lot to this community and Union Bank. We are honored to be a part of this wonderful community,” said Rawls.

Vice President Rawls would also like to thank Pam and Danny Cook for the use of their building space and their support of this project. The new flag mural will be painted on the east side of The Eagle Democrat office building.

The current flag mural is located downtown on the side of the Rural Water building and will be torn down along with the buildings across from the courthouse. Make Warren Shine funded the flag mural in 2019. It was also done by muralist Jason White.
