The Donald W. Reynolds YMCA of Warren and Bradley County announce today that Bart Goodwin has been appointed the new Chief Executive Officer. An experienced leader, Goodwin will succeed David Richey and assume responsibilities effective immediately.
Bart Goodwin is a 1997 graduate of Warren High School and received his Bachelors in General Studies from the University of Arkansas at Monticello in 2012. He and his wife of 23 years, Mandy, have two daughters, Jillian, age 22, and Trista, age 19.
“The YMCA has been a huge part of my life since moving to Warren. Most of my childhood memories have something to do with the Y,” said Goodwin. “I, along with so many others, are extremely blessed to have had the YMCA as a kid!”
“I’m extremely blessed and honored to be the next CEO. I know I have some big shoes to fill after David Richey, but I look forward to this great opportunity to serve the community. We will do our absolute best to be not only a safe spot for our kids to come and enjoy the Y, but to also grow for our adults as well.”
