Lela Rauls, age 86, of Warren, went on to be with her Lord and Savior May 5, 2023. She was born January 21, 1937, in Hermitag. She was the eldest daughter of Orvil and Lydia Hooks Vines. Lela was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Rauls; daughter, Janie Sue; son, Robert; and sister, Bea Wagnon.
Lela married Roy Rauls, on December 24, 1953. She was an active member of First Freewill Baptist Church, worked many years for Jack Winter, and was a member of the County Extension Homemakers, where she passed on her knowledge to others. Lela had a love for cooking and gardening and was a cook for many years at the Bradley Hunting Club.
She is survived by her daughter, Liz Clark; grandchildren, Jason Clark and spouse Kennedy, and Chris Clark; five great-granddaughters, Makayla, Mckenzie, Piper, Halen Elizabeth, and Harlyn Rhodes Clark; and her sister, Opal Wagnon.
Funeral service was 2 p.m., Sunday, May 7, 2023 at Frazer’s Funeral Home, with burial in Willoughby Cemetery.
