Greg "Big Papa" Binns performed at the Warren Branch Library Friday night, entertaining a crowd of friends and music lovers with stories of Warren’s past and classic blues. He highlighted several Mississippi blues artists who began their careers in the Delta, many of whom performed in Warren. Local musician David Forest joined Greg on harmonica, adding soulful Deep South vibes and the sound of a distant train whistle. The idea of a Catfish Row Blues night was also discussed—an exciting prospect for Bradley County. The library hosted the event wonderfully, providing food and drinks for the appreciative crowd.
